应该把as well去掉，这里not only，but（also）已经有了不但而且的意思了，不应该再加上as well表示而且的意思。追问可是题目要求用not only…but…as well
追答既然这样，那么这个句子应该就没有问题了。但是总觉得not only…but…as well很奇怪

Sam received half his money, and a note as well.

Sam neither received half his money, nor a note. 在否定的时候不用not only ...but also追问可是题目要求用not only…but…as well
追答那就应该改成： Sam not only didn't receive half his money, but a note as well. 或者 Sam not only received half his money, but a note as well. 钱一个是否定，后一个是肯定。看你自己选哪个。
