Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction. ---2-timothy4:2
A lot of people having this kind of morbid condition are in namely “must not when” attentive. Time doesn’t mean time, but us. “In season and out of season” means whether we like it or not. If we only do what we want to do, we will never achieve anything. In the spiritual realm, there are many people who are not useful. And there are spiritual old men who will not lift a finger unless they have a transcendent revelation. To prove that our relationship with God is our duty, whether we are moved or not.
The biggest trap of being our master’s worker is to hold one’s moment in high regard. When the spirit of God gives you revelation and light, you should say: “from then on I hold this position for God.” Wrong, you can’t, and God will make you so. The experience is completely God-given, and you can’t take it for yourself. If you claim to be able to maintain peak performance, you will become an intolerable burden. And you would not do anything if God stopped revealing. If you take your transcendental experience as God, you will find that God will disappear from your life unless you do your part and learn to stop believing in your transcendental experience.
Dear God, what my soul needs most today is relief and beautification. I come to you; my body needs you to be a savior and Lord; please mend my lost passion and keen spirit for you, so that I can exert proper influence for you here.
