本课的语言结构为时间和日期的表达,在英语中表示具体日期一般用介词o n.在讲述本课内容的时候,提到一些节日的名称,如:Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, Mother’s day等等,不仅让学生了解这些节日的名称,同时也让他们了解这些节日的习俗和有关知识。如在Thanksgiving Day中可以告诉学生要感谢父母给了我们生命,感谢老师给了我们知识,感谢朋友让我们远离了孤独。我们沐浴在阳光下,受到他人的关爱,滴水之恩当涌泉相报,唯有怀抱一颗感恩的心,生活才会充实,快乐,应该怀抱感恩的心面对生活。这对学生了解国外的文化有一定的帮助,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,同时使学生不知不觉中感受到了德育的渗透。学生在掌握知识的同时,在德育方面也有所进步,从而更好的全面发展。
