摘要：A protection circuit protects an electronic switching device from a destructivetransient voltage, such as that caused by an automotive load dump. The protection circuitincludes a first protection device and a second protection device. T he first protectiondevice responds to the destructive transient voltage by conductin g a protection currentand providing a bias signal responsive to the protection current. Th e second protectiondevice receives the bias signal and provides a control signal to the switching device inresponse to the bias signal. The switching device provides the loa d current to the loadresponsive to the control signal, when the destructive transient voltage occurs.
